'A natural alternative to stress and pain'

South Hills Therapeutic Inc
Massage Therapist and customer

When you experience pain or discomfort, your body is trying to tell you something. At South Hills Therapeutic, we listen to the story your body is trying to tell. Before your massage, we take the time to get to know you a bit to gain insight into your own unique background and lifestyle.

What sort of work do you do? Where are you hurting and for how long? How do you manage your stress and your pain? How active are you?

It's by investing this time and attention and actively listening to you and  your needs that gives us the insight to tailor your treatment plan and address your specific symptoms.

Often, the majority of bodywork done in our office is deep muscle therapy, a type of massage that has consistently produced remarkable results – frequently in as little as one to three sessions. We also use several other techniques that stimulate recovery and speed your healing process.

What types of massage do we use? How are they different?

Increase your benefits with frequent sessions

•  Swedish Massage: A system of stroking, kneading, friction, and percussion which

promotes stress relief and relaxation, reduces muscle tension, and improves both

your circulation and range of motion. This is one of the most commonly taught and

   well-known massage techniques.

•  Trigger Point Therapy: The precise application of pressure to muscles or other tissues

in order to help break the pain/spasm cycle or chronic tension patterns.

•  Pfrimmer Deep Muscle Therapy: A highly-refined system of corrective treatment

designed to aid in the restoration of damaged muscles and soft tissues in the entire

   body.

•  Sports Massage: A combination of techniques assisting in preparation for, or recovery

   from specific sports pursuits.

•  Reflexology: Work applied to specific points, typically of the hands and feet, which are

seen to beneficially affect, by “reflex” connection, all the areas of the body.

•  Craniosacral Therapy: A system of gentle, precise techniques for helping one overcome

a wide variety of physical, psychological and emotional ailments, and maintain overall

   health.

Invest in your continued health and well-being with consistent massage appointments. Regular massage sessions can make a huge difference in the quality of your life and can help you to remain energetic and youthful as you age.
